Are there any cons to going to a dermatologist for bad acne?

i heard that some of the medication makes the acne worse or if you stop using it then the acne comes back worse than beforeAre there any cons to going to a dermatologist for bad acne?
The only con is the money for the treatments. Some medicines might not be recommended if you are pregnant, you can ask about them if you have a prescription and that is a concern. The acne will not come back worse than before. With professional treatment, acne usually will improve substantially within 4 to 6 weeks, which can avoid ugly scarring and expensive treatments later. Are there any cons to going to a dermatologist for bad acne?
Just don't go to Dr. Egan Report Abuse

Yeah, sometimes it has to get worse before it gets better.

Another downside is the cost of visiting a dermatologist, not only do you have to pay for the examinations, you have to pay for all of the creams and gels and pills. Insurance can only cover so much.

After going on birth control (which did more for my skin than any of the dermatologist stuff ever did) I stopped going.
Acne is a bundle of skin rashes formed over skin due to the action of hormones on the sebaceous glands. You can get rid of these acne from any of the natural acne remedies listed on the below site. Check it out for yourself as it worked for all that i personally know. The site address is beauticianworld.com

only if you get a bad, lazy doctor. you can try a cosmetic dermatologist too, they have alot of options.
